My name is Gina and I’ve been ‘kept by’ cats for about 15 years. Our first cats Winston and Flora joined us when they were 6 weeks old and complete hooligans. Sadly Flora passed away a few years ago but her nickname ‘Naughtypaw’ will always live on in my prefix, unfortunately Winston also passed away late 2011 and my Mum now has 2 semi feral girls to keep her occupied!

When I first left home I didn’t last long before I gave in to the fact that something was missing in my life and decided to get a kitten... I got Mo a non pedigree black shorthair in 2000 when he was 8 weeks old, he had been hand reared since the age of 3 weeks as his mum had been hit by a car – my first lesson: Never let a cat outside!

In 2004 George joined the family, a non pedigree tabby shorthair with bags of personality! George has weight (and balance) issues but is still really I suppose the baby of the family.

Whilst travelling in Tokyo, Japan in 2007 I met an Aby for the first time and fell in love! I did a bit of research and contacted a few breeders. On returning to the UK I received a call from Chris Hughes at Merrydancer to say she had a Sorrel girl suitable for breeding... and so the story begins:

Merrydancer Baillee moved in with us in October 2007 and immediately became the boss! I took her to her first show in March 2008 and was over the moon to see so many ribbons on her pen... she went on to be awarded the title of Champion at the Supreme show that year and received her 1^st Grand Challenge Certificate at the Supreme show 2009, I've decided not to show Baillee anymore as she seems happier staying at home!

Naughtypaw Anastasia (aka Anni) has stayed with us from Baillee's first litter as our 2nd Queen. Anni did exceptionally well when shown as a kitten and carried on her success getting 2 challenge certificates at successive shows in 2011 narrowly missing out on a 3rd at the Supreme. I will continue to show her until she matures a little then she will go to stud and have a litter of her own!
